Bootstrapping and Resampling with S-Plus

A library of functions and data written by
Angelo Canty to accompany the
Cambridge University Press publication
Bootstrap Methods and Their Application by
Anthony Davison and David Hinkley.
Linux/Unix Version
-
To install the Unix version of the library download the
file bootlib.sh.Z and then run
the command uncompress -c bootlib.sh.Z | sh . From there follow
the instructions in the file READ.ME. Note that this version
works with S-Plus 5 and S-Plus 6 on Linux/Unix as well as S-Plus 3.x (x > 1).
Windows Versions
- To install the Windows version for S-Plus Version 6.0
download the file boot.zip.

- To install the Windows version for S-Plus Version
3.2+ download the file bootlib.exe.
Move it to an appropriate directory and execute the file.
- For S-Plus Version 3.1 download the file boot31.exe.
Move it to an appropriate directory and execute the file.
